Les Arcs ski resorts are located in Savoie, the Tarentaise Valley near the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Les Arcs is one of the best holiday destinations for its beauty and winter sports. It is the perfect location for those who want to soak up the snowy mountain atmosphere.
Les Arcs is made up of four major resorts; Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000.
The nightlife in Les Arcs is simply amazing. The bars, pubs, clubs, and restaurants and of course the awesome view of the mountains kissed in moonlight will make your holiday a memorable one. After a fun day on the slopes, why should the fun stop there when Après-ski has so much to offer.
Arc 1600
In Arc 1600, Le Panoramic bar is a very popular hot spot serving every kind of cocktail and equally tasty food. There's also the Arvi Pa Café jazz lounge bar . They have happy hours between 5 pm to 7 pm and then its dancing and partying until 2 am. Le Sanglier Qui Fume is another popular venue in Arc 1600 with their famous hog BBQs and live music.
Arc 1800
Arc 1800 boasts some of the best places to spend your evenings. The Red Hot Saloon one of the most popular and largest bar in the resort. Here you can shake your thing on the dance floor with a regular live music throughout the season. With temping drinks deals and open until late, this is where the party is at. Students like to head over to Place des Villards and the Jungle Café. It has a great environment and prices are reasonable.
One experience that shouldn't be missed is a visit to L’Arpette bar where the après starts. Located near the Arpette and snow park chair lifts. During the day, it’s a perfect lunchtime stop. However after 3pm, its Happy Hour. The prices drop, the DJ begins banging out the tunes. the perfect night is a Wednesday where you have a raclette before getting down on the dance floor. At about 9pm, everyone puts on their skis and snowboards and heads back to the resorts by torch light. A totally must-do experience.
Arc 1950
Whilst Arc 1950 is the smaller of the resorts, there's still a great selection of bars to frequent. Le Club 1950 one such bar for the late night party goers. George’s wine bar is another sophisticated bar in Arc 1950. They serve different types of wines and beers across the world. Here you can get very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Les Belles Pintes is only Irish pub in Arc 1950 with a classic boozy atmosphere.
The contemporary O’Chaud Lounge Bar is one place to check out indeed. With regular live music and well known DJs pumping out euro-electronica tunes
Arc 2000
The highest resort Arc 2000 has some great high altitude night spots on offer. One such venue is the Resto Bar EI Latino Loco located on the 5th floor of the Residence Aiguille Rouge. With live music and DJs, they'll keeping dancing through til 4 am . Whilst you're in Arc 2000 on a night out make sure you try some Mojitos at the American themed Red Rock Café. The affordable food and drinks prices are another attraction.
Bourg Saint Maurice
If you are staying down in the Bourg St Maurice valley, there are some must-visit places waiting to greet you. Bazoom Bar is really good for night out for a game of pool, live music, and relaxing atmosphere.
